Maybe if you drink a ton, but I've never known of anyone getting serious health problems unless they were an extremely heavy drinker

I've read articles suggesting consumption in excess of 14 drinks a week will increase the risk of cancer. (Although it does seem to be a very slight risk, and one that affects females more than males.)Maybe if you drink a ton, but I've never known of anyone getting seriously health problems unless they were an extremely heavy drinker
That's fine.

Well since my birthday is in July I'll do my part to help American Beer Month. I'm not a big drinker (I'd be streching to get 14 drinks a year). I don't see anything wrong with moderatated drinking. Hell I'm at the point where I can not consume more then two drinks in a setting. I can try to go for a third but I never finish it.
Hmm...more of a scotch man, but I like a beer too. I'll try to have a few this weekend as a salute to all you Americans.

United States of American, that is.
A quote from the great homer jay simpson
"beer, the cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems"
I'd drink to that
I guess we should be saluting California common (also known as steam beer) above the other styles. It is, after all, the only "American" beer style.
