its a reliable news source, and i heard about it on Q102, but still....how can you NOT know??
Another reason why religion has simply gone too far. Religion = evil.
erm, of course, the assignment of evil to Religion returns true, butReligion = evil.
returns false.Code:Religion == evil
I heard about this yesterday, and all I could think about is, " you are telling me that these people would know to go to a doctor about not being able to have a kid but never bought any books related to pregnancy which would clearly mention sex?"
>> anybody have any legit backing to this? <<
It appears the original source is the ananova story and the rest of the media has picked it up. Although the Daily Mirror seems to have some more dubious details.
The daily mirror claims the ages as 32 and 36 while ananova claims 30 and 36.
The daily mirror calls it the University of Luebeck while ananova calls it the University Clinic of Lubek.
It does seem to exist but no mention of the story on the press release page.
I'm skeptical that anyone could live in a Western society and not know the basic details. I'd give the story a less than 50/50 chance of being roughly accurate. Have to wait till snopes picks it up.
Good for a laugh though - 10/10.
Its a good thing clinics are talking about these things EARLY and OPENLY in life with their patients.

Wow... You'd think they'd have figured it out... Just maybe...
lol, the daily mirror, that kinda says it all to me, that paper only prints crap.
as to whether its true, lol who knows..
there was a part in catch 22 where this young couple when to see doc daneeka because they weren't having kids, and the female had a holy mary on a rosary or some necklace hanging down near her boobies, and doc daneeka pointed that out, and then the d00d came back later and punched doc daneeka in the face because he realized doc daneeka was looking at her boobies when he pointed out the holy mary.
EDIT:
*tears come to eyes, bites fist, represses the urge to say it*We are not talking retarded people here, but a couple who were brought up in a religious environment
Brought up in a religious environment? That's worse than retarded.
Just had to say what everyone was thinking.
I don't see anything wrong with religion. The basic fundamentals of it are good. Such as the beliefs and ethics of being good, but some people take it too far.
