    e3 expo

Well, as of the time I am writing this post, the E3 Expo has been going on for 2 days now. Anyone here been keeping up with it?

I have watched the new Doom III, Legend of Zelda, and Halo 2 trailers, and they all look awesome. I am incredibly excited about Doom III coming out this July (I plan on buying that thing the 1st day it is out...and that is pretty dang incredibly for me...usually i just pirate the game or get it when it comes down in price).

I also have a good friend at the E3 Expo right now, and I am pretty excited to see what he says about it when he gets home.

    What about all of you?

I'm looking forward to possible Blizzard announcements and Zelda.

I haven't been into too many games recently... after beating KOTOR I just haven't been too interested, but I've been passively watching for Halo 2

i was at e3 today (i know someone who works for ign). the half-life 2 presentations blew me away, but i was expecting that. doom3 looked pretty killer on xbox, can't wait to see that game on an x800 or 6800 (oh, i also got to play farcry running on a 6800 and that was frickin ausome!). this is one of the best e3's i've been to (this is my 4th): adult zelda, metroid prime 2, nintendo ds, halo 2, half-life 2, sony psp, splinter cell 3, doom 3, .........

i don't think i'll preorder doom III, but i'll defanatly buy it early on, because i want to see how people react to the game before spending 50-60 bux0rz.
doom III looks alot like doom 64, which was a real failure

I'm not expecting much from Doom III, BUT the "demo" was pretty impressive.

i hate it when all the game companies show for screenshots are the game cinematics. e.g. on the back of the box. if i wanted to watch a movie, i wouldn't play games.

what excites me the most is all of the super physics coming out.

i played the doom3 demo, and watched the half life 2 movies...the physics makes me drool. Being able to program something as 'simple' as a barrel tipping over, and knowing when it collides with something, and then applying the appropriate torque when it hits a wall and it bounces off, is incredibly complex, and whoever can code that type of stuff is absolutely god.
