    Missing Windows File

Hey everybody - long time no see.

    Well... I GOT VISUAL STUDIO.NET!!!

    Yes... I'm very happy.

But my Anti-Virus software picked up a virus in a file under the Windows directory (XP), in a folder called, "Downloaded Program Files". The files name was "bridge.dll". It's standard method of repairing viruses (viri?) eveidently did not work, and so it had the file moved to it's "Virus Vault". Evidently I needed that file - because now I get an error message upon every reboot. It's nothing major because I seem to be able to do everything normal... But I'd really like to stop getting told that my hard drive could not be found. It's working fine... but I hate waking up to that message. I don't suppose any XP user would be able to email the file to [email protected] if they have it? Thanks!

Well it appears to be a virus. I looked in my computers registry and sure enough - like some other dude said, found "BRIDGE". I removed it and haven't gotten a message since. Thanks for pointing out the obvious google solution (and I don't mean that sarcastically - seriously. Thank you.)
