  • Of course! Cprog is my home! It's always fun to help people with their programs and participate in such things as rants and religious/political arguments on the GD board!

what if you became one of the greats...

What if you became one of the greats? One of the all time famous programmers such as John Carmack?

Would you still pop by cprog every one in awhile to see what was going on? To see how all your low life pals are doing compared to you enormous amounts of wealth?

Even John Carmack didn't get where he is by himself.

I'd be back, if only to taunt you all

I'd definitely be back, provided I had the time. I help newbies around here because I choose to. If no one ever stopped to help those trying to learn, there'd be no passing of knowledge.

I might have to make a plug now and then for my book, though, when I become one of the greats

I'd definitely come back. Programming is also about information sharing and helping others get where you are. If some of the members had never helped me I'd never be where I am. This applies only unless you are some greedy corporate machine out to leech every dollar from the public.....but we don't know any like that now do we?

I wonder if Bjarne Stroustrup or Dennis Richie ever come here and post under some alias.

    nice gov

I'd definately come back... I like hangning around people that are less educated than me... not only because it makes me feel better, but because I like helping people out... especially when they're just learning something new...

I would definately come back. But since I WILL be one of the greats I guess I will promise to come back and be active. Someone of that status would be very valuavle to this community.

I will start selling signatures now before they get expensive.
