Sex has psychological health benefits. It must.

what's the point of love? as Govtcheez said earlier, it brings a couple closer, and if you've ever loved somebody that much, you wouldn't see it necessarily as an erotic pleasure thing, but more as an "i love you, am completely comforable with you, and want to be close to you on a higher level" type thing... sure, it's pleasureable, but so is hugging a significant other...

That's a good point. However, I think that it rarely holds true these days...

    >> "i love you, am completely comforable with you, and want to be close to you on a higher level"

This is really why there is such a thing as marriage...Sure sex can show your love for someone, but if you do it with everyone you meet, then it becomes meaningless. But that's getting off topic...

OK, so in your opinion, sex is meaningless if you have it with multiple people. What's that got to do with 1 couple expressing their love for one another, to one another?

I really don't think the word "normal" should be used. I hate it.
Thx dude. I can't believe I said that. I guess it's like you said, I've been around people too long . I accidently call people gay or retarded to insult them, even though in reality those are not insults.

It's simply because I've been around people too long. I bite my tongue everytime I make myself to be a hypocrite.

    I voted agree.

60 years from now when kids in school look back on our time, a time when same sex marriage is considered a controversy, people will consider this a violation of human rights. It's no different than say the 1960's when "colored people" weren't allowed to drink from the same water fountains and such. Why weren't they allowed to do so? Because many people like the people here considered them "unnatural". People need to stop judging the actions of others and worry about their own faults.

What? That sounds like something out of Catch-22.

"You can't marry because your sex is only full of lust."
    "And yours isn't?"
"No, because I'm married. Married sex isn't lusty!"
    "So can I get married?"
    "No! Aren't you listening? Lust!"

edit: I think I use narrative to get my point across too much.

edit2: Oh, wait, I just realized that wasn't what you were saying at all

No, you're just really stupid . I thought I was pretty clear about that, but maybe you're just too stupid to realize?
