What is more imporant to you in a movie? The storyline or the ending?
Storyline
The Ending
A balance of both
Neither
Depends entirely on the movie

I'd say the story's more important, but a decent ending doesn't hurt, either.

i say both... I was going to say storyline, but then i thought about how a bad ending ruins the storyline, so I chose a balance of both...

Is a 'balance of both' not really the same as 'depends on the movie'?
Such is life.
i always like movies with really good endings, but you never make it to the end if the rest of the movie sucks...
I came up with a cool phrase to put down here, but i forgot it...

I was actually thinkng that 'balance of both' is really the same as 'neither'...

Balance of both would apply to all movies, depends on the movie means that in some movies the ending is the most important (ie suprise twists, cliffhangers, etc) and the storyline is most important in others (ie dramas). Neither implies that something else is more important (like the special effects or whatever).
neither can also be read as neither is more important than the other... it all depends on how you interpret it...

A balance of both, since you can't reach the end without a good storyline (or at least hard enough to); and you will feel that the movie is lacking without a good ending.
