    band nazis

DALLAS - The Paris school district has apologized for a performance by its marching band that played an Adolf Hitler anthem and waved a Nazi flag during a football halftime show.

Band director Charles Grissom said the song and flag were part of a musical performance called "Visions of World War II." It was performed at a Dallas high school last Friday, which was also Rosh Hashana, the start of the Jewish new year and one of the holiest days on the Jewish calendar.

"The performance is an attempt to factually portray the history of World War II, triumph of good over evil, and to honor our veterans for their sacrifices," Grissom said in a statement. He added later he made a major mistake in judgment.

Hm... I don't understand why this has something to do with the "Paris School District". May someone help me to understand this joke?!

@DavidP: Currently I am listening to those guys from "Drowning Pool". They're from Texas, aren't they? (Damn - it rocks!)

Um... Because the Germans had a pretty easy time with Paris in WWII...

    > Currently I am listening to those guys from "Drowning Pool".

Hasn't every country that has invaded France had an easy time with Paris?

BTW Drowning Pool is good when you want some "I hate the world and wish everyone would die" music. I get in those moods and its nice to have music to back it up

Uh... I hope no one will start a "axis of weasels" discussion here... ;-) *changesthelocationentryquickly*

You are right! DP is absolutely good for this. It's the same with Rammstein. The lyrics are really sick, but their concerts are amazing!
