    Lose the AM/PM stuff and use a normal clock that has either 07:00 or 19:00 on it

    Yep... know the feeling. Last year, my parents left for a week, and so our dogs managed to wake me up (which is rare... I sleep through anything). Well, I automatically assumed that the alarm clock had gone off, and so I got up, went to school (about a fifty minute drive usually), and the gates were locked when I got there. Only then (and not before that entire morning), I actually looked at the clock and realized it was 2:30 AM.
    The word rap as it applies to music is the result of a peculiar phonological rule which has stripped the word of its initial voiceless velar stop.
