In 1999 Israel's GNP was 104 billion. i'm thinking they would manage ok without the aid.

This is in most part because the US keeps vetoing UN resolutions against Israel.

if the only thing that happened economically because of him was tax cuts, we'd be fine. But the way he ran everything screwed the economy all up. Jobs were GONE in this area (northern IL and prob many other places) for about 2 years, the first 2 years of my life. Because of the way the economy was going the landlord that my parents rented from 3 months prior to me being born was sold to someone. At approx. the same time my Dad and 500 other people were laid off from Sunstrand. My parents had to scrape together and borrow any money they could to buy a dumpy house at a busy intersection a few miles from town. My parents have been deep in debt ever since then. Because of Reagan's great economic strategies my parents cannot send me to college, I have to take out student loans for everything and hope I get a job that's good enough to pay them off, and help pay my parents for everything they've sacrificied to get me and my little brother what we have. Reagan can suck my dick.

as you know im young, young enough to not have first hand experience with Reagan, what i Do know is what my dad has told me about those times. I dont' recall specifics of his policy, I just remember that his policies in general are what screwed things up here. I would like to explain myself further but I can't so sorry. Therefore, no matter what I could say to any of the above in rebuttle, none of it would do any good as you would have a response anyway. So, I'd like us to accept the fact that what he did was good for some people, but was not good for the industrial sector in my area.

I see. Alright then. There's something you should know about politics. A lot of people throw rhetoric around with no specifics and nothing to back it up. Your parents have a political affiliation and are no doubt loyal to that party. Understand that and you'll understand why I say you should learn to think for yourself and back up your ideas with actual facts.
