I've VS.net installed on my computer. It works with .net framework 1.0.3
I wanna upgrade to framework v1.1
Can I simply download and install it?Will my VS.net support it or will I need to buy an entirely new VS.net(2003)?

You can install it and take a look in the options where you can point VS the framework you want. However, an upgrade of VS to 2003 is so cheap ( like 20$ or something ) and VS2003 is so much better than the 7.0 Version, I think anything but upgrading would be stupid.

When in doubt, read the FAQ.

Really?
I've seen the features on MS site, but they didn't seem very compelling.
Why do u rate it well?
Well, it's mostly small things that make a programming life much easier... it doesn't crash, it has a better intellisense feature ( self learning ), you can press tab to implement stubs of an interface or base class, the new framework, an updated help...

i just installed VS.net 2003 and it does seem very cool (the features i mean) ive never used the previous .NET releases but the collapse/expand functions thing is great!!
nothing is cooler than the menu's auto hide options :P
