I've got no mates!
I know you can play missions on your own, but the whole point is playing over the internet (unless you're on dilaup, I guess)
Have you tried HalfLife? I think I'm going to give that and Deus Ex second runthroughs before their sequels come out.

Or do I just sell the PS2 and buy a X-box with Halo!

StarCraft: Ghost comes out 02/10/2004 according to the Ebgames website, curiously the game is listed under the platformer category. It is supposed to be a shooter correct?

Ummm if you have completed the above (mainly PC) why the hell do you want PS2 stuff?
You ARE aware the graphics etc are tat compared to PC stuff. Take for example Vice City (yeh yeh not a FPS but still!) This game is 150% better on the PC as are most shooters. Tell you what, stuff the PS2 and wait for new ones on PC.
Have you noticed BTW how many next gen console games have versions for the PC planned? Weird.

SOCOM: US Navy Seals
a great 3rd person shooter for PS2, awsome online game. I also played a demo that came with soul calibur 2 called "kill Switch" i think? that was another pretty cool 3rd person shooter. Cant think of much for FPS on PS2 though, its just not the same without a mouse.
Starcraft: Ghost and Halo 2 are at the top of my list...theres a bunch more coming out for xbox that look good (at least for a rent)

Definately get an X-Box, it is so much better than the other consoles.
