    fabyan chron

    Who, or what, is fabyan chron? I'm trying to look this up as part of an English assignment but I have no clue what it means...it was in the Oxford English Dictionary, but I can't tell if this is a person or a book or an abbreviation for something (google isnt' helping on this one)

    Are you looking at book lists? Often book listings are laid out as Surname, Christian name, order example...

    >>> VON SCHLABRENDOFF, FABIAN (chron.)

    ... meaning works by Fabian von Schlabrendoff in chronological order.

    Here for example.

    Could also refer to Robert Fabyan, the chronicler. Here.

    Oh wow Robert Fabyan died on my birthday in 1513 (feb 28). But also, the word I am looking up is from 1494, that means this dude is what it must have been referring to (the word is prodigy, and 1494 is the first known publication of it by "Fabyan chron", which I guess means Fabyan chronicles).

    thanks adrian
