Zakk, you haven't answered the question posed to you: If a person killed all of your loved ones, should something be done to this person? If so, why, since after all they would have died anyways eventually, it helps overpopulation that your loved ones aren't around anymore, and death is a natural part of life, so in essense he didn't do anything wrong. And if you would be upset with this person or care that your loved ones are gone, but don't care about the 50+ people who die everyday in the US from guns that you don't know (but have their own loved ones), doesn't that make you self-centered?

Ok. Let me clear this up. Odviously you haven't read any of my posts in the entirety. I don't condone murder. He said everyone has a right to live. and noone should die. I answered with the truth. It seems like people like you can't accept truth.

No, I have read each of your posts, you just completely contradict yourself. On one hand you say that murder is wrong, but on the other hand you say we shouldn't care if people get murdered since death is a natural part of life and is needed. So which is it? Why do you believe murder is bad if you think it helps the world?

If you say that we shouldn't care that people are getting murdered, then in essense you ARE condoning it.

I'm saying murder sucks. It's not good and something you should enjoy. You also can't stop it. there is no possible way to stop it in a world this large. I think we should accept that it is there and get around it. And would you get off that damned population arguement? I made one statement on it that I didn't even start. I just agreed with it and then you act like everytime someone dies I go "Yay population down one!" which I don't.

    >>I made one statement on it that I didn't even start. I just agreed with it and then you act like everytime someone dies I go "Yay population down one!" which I don't.<<

Well, when you consistently combine arguments "we should accept murder" with "death is needed in this world to curb population", what do you expect?

    >>You also can't stop it. there is no possible way to stop it in a world this large. I think we should accept that it is there and get around it.<<

By get around it do you mean just let it happen? Not even make an attempt to stop people from killing each other? Obviously we can never get rid of all murders, but why on earth do you think we can't decrease the number of them? Give one good reason. Is it just chance that some countries have lower murder rates than other similar countries or maybe they are doing something differently? And if we CAN decrease the number of them, why shouldn't we?

Yeah. Maybe they are doing something differently. Maybe many of the countries do not have the oportunities that we have? Would you rather everyone have false illusions of the world than understand the reality? If people like Einstien and others just accepted what people think we wouldn't be here today. I think of everything as it is. I can't help it and I'm not going to stop doing it either.

    Does death help curb population?
    Yes it does.

Do I think we should go murder people to decrease the population? No.

I guess I just have a different perspective on the world than others.

Just because there are many reasons why it is great to be an American doesn't mean we should just accept the problems that come with it. If everybody just threw up their hands to every problem and said "we should just accept this as the price for my opportunities" then nothing would ever change.

    >>I think of everything as it is<<

No offense, but you think of everything as the way YOU think it is. If we can do something to decrease the number of murders then why shouldn't we, other than being just lazy or uncaring? We aren't arguing about whether or not murders happen in the world, but whether or not we should do something to decrease them. What "reality" are you preaching that we should do nothing to try and stop the killings? I, along with everyone else here, understand that death is a part of life and accept that, but we aren't going to sit on our hands and let senseless deaths happen while making excuses like "I've accepted that death is a part of life".

So if we can do something about it, should we or should we not do it?

We do try to stop murders. Our goverment spends millions if not billions of dollars towards protecting people each year in the united states. Do you not think we are trying to prevent this? There frankly isn't allot I can personally do about all the deaths in the world. If there is something I can do about it, then I will do it, but otherwise I try to just live my life. And damn don't you understand when I'm trying to end because its never going to end?
