The Geckos as just giving everybody a head start, I mean, Marshall Faulk and Marvin Harrison can't have bad games every week can they....?

Hey ROD, you planning on starting the ENTIRE Eagles team? Whoohoo, at least 3rd place is mine!

Yeah, even though I've got a decent lead over you, PJ, one good game from one of your guys could jet you ahead. It'll be close at least until midseason.

In the league I played last season, a couple guys jetted out in front and stayed about 100 points ahead of the two of us battling for third the whole season.

We're catching up there Cheez! Oh except for Rod who for some reason goes out of his way to start quarterbacks who everyone in the world knows isn't going to start. Rod, you do know the object of the game is to use players that actually play right?

Yeah, I didn't have anyone playing Monday night like you guys did

I'm glad to see Hasselbeck pulled through for me, but it's too bad Koren Robinson didn't play and Hines Ward had a crap game.

aside: I started Jamal Lewis in my other league - he got me like 40+ points by himself 295 yd rushing and 2 TDs - oh yeah.

Well now Jamal is mine, all mine! HAHAHAHAHAHA Of course now he's going to suck...

Oh and Rod, in case you aren't paying attention, the Eagles aren't playing this week. So unless you want to fall 100 pts behind the rest of us (in which case you'd start off as poorly as Philly has done) I'd suggest changing your lineup seeing as how half of your team are Eagles.

I was gonna keep quiet too but now I'm starting to feel sorry for his team! With the Eagles themselves sucking, you can only kick a guy so low!

I'm pretty scared to see the results for this week - what a messed up week, points-wise. I've still got at least one guy in MNF tonight, though.

Aside: Going into MNF this week, I'm 8-4 in an informal pick 'em

Your team is the only one that did well, my players all around sucked. Culpepper is the only one who did well for me and was on pace for a huge score but only played for one half.

Heh, I'm so far 10-4 in my pick-em league over at Yahoo and thats against the spread! I keep getting whooped in survivor football though, lost the first week when Houston beat Miami, rejoined, then got bounced again yesterday when Arizona beat Green Bay. Think I'll stay out this time.

Really? Can you post the updated scores?

I was at the Minn-Det game yesterday. It was a blast - my first live NFL game. Even though we lost, it was still a ton of fun (except for the $7 beers - WTF is with that?)

Cool on going to an NFL game, I'd go but Bronco tickets are super-expensive for even the crappy seats and are almost always sold out anyways. I went to a 49ers game a few years ago and that was fun though.

The problem was that almost all of the big name players got shut down yesterday and most of the points went to no-names. And jeez I'm terrible at picking a defense combining for like 3 pts total in my three weeks combined. First week I pick the great Dolphins defense against the crappy Houston offense. Houston pulls the upset. Second week I pick the great Giants defense against the crappy Cowboys, the Boys pull the upset. This week I pick the good Green Bay defense against the super crappy Cardinals, Cards pull the upset. Moral of the story, if I pick a defense, immediately put LOTS of money down on the other team to win.
