Oh wow I just "discovered" this: in IE, if you hold down shift and use the mouse wheel, it goes back/forwards! (backspace is also one).

Holding down ctrl will change the text size. And no, I have never seen that wheel problem. Must be your drivers. Well I have seen it, not with IE though. With (sighs) wordperfect at school...

Total aside, does anyone use the "click the wheel" then mouse up/down to scroll?

Sometimes, if it's a long page and I want something near the bottom.

of course the end key does that much better. I kinda prefer keyboard shortcuts still. Stupid middle button shortcuts always felt strange to me.

I know, but sometimes I'm lazy and don't feel like moving that much.

wouldn't the end key take you to the end of the line, wouldn't page up and page down be more usefull for scrolling then the end key?

    God I'm bored

No, in IE, if you're not filling out a form, end takes you to the bottom of the page.

i changed the wheel click button to minimize the active window. Its really handy.

i always just grab the scroll bar and yank it down to the bottom.

I do all the time when I read through long stuff. Like when I read tabs I will set it up so it goes down at the right speed of the playing and I can just leave it and play. I also use it when I'm reading this forum

that's funny. You would be surprised how many keystrokes there are for IE. for instance, does anyone use alt- left arrow and alt- right arrow to go forward and back? I use that all the time.

I should be able to use my mouse buttons for that, (theres two extras on the side) but it only worked for the first day I had the mouse...
