    Nobody knows for sure.

    have i been asleep?
Maybe, mabye not, but I was.

Probably because zen has also been reading about C#.

btw what also is the meaning of life
Although there are some fundamental points that can be made, it's slightly different for everyone.

    >btw what also is the meaning of life
I heard the meaning of life has to do with four. 4 things peraphs
    Love,
    Hate,
    War
    Peace.

or maybe it has to do with golf.

What would a C board be without a C# forum? It was overdue.

Overdue? Is it even out of Beta yet? I hope we don't get carried away and add a Java board just because it is based on C/C++..... I don't like going to sites with 86 different forum boards... I lose interest fast. Simplicity is one of cprogramming.com's strong points.. but that's me and I could care less about C# so it won't bother me.

C# is the future of web-programming.

    Go learn something.

    Linux... hehe

For my Comp Graphics and Desktop Pubishing class i'm doing a picture of penguins that shoot lasers out of their eyes fighting Barb-B-Qs that shoot charcoal missiles.

I can't wait to get to work on it.

I've been posting here since nearly the beginning. I didn't bother registering since the new board until recently, mostly due to the lack of interesting (rude) people this place has become infested with. I gave no insult, but received four. I think Microsoft is wonderful most of the time. I am a programmer by trade and "know something" about it. I don't see why I should be defending myself so I'll stop now.

If you can't find anything wrong with any points I bring up, by all means, attack me personally (whom you obviously know nothing about). (Dean, you might remember I was one of the few people who stood up for you -for some reason- back when the rest of the board was telling you to "get the hell out of here" the first time... yeah, I predate you.)

When I say I don't care about C#, it isn't because I don't think it will be useful or good. I don't do web programming, I do application and embedded programming (half the time I'm just working with hardware). Thus it does not interest me. Thus I don't care at this time. I think it is still too early to say if it is good or if it is flawed.

You can do about anything in any language. Some are better at some things than others. I prefer simple languages like C/C++ because I usually like to reinvent the wheel. That way, I don't have a nagging doubt in my mind as to where a bug might be. I wrote it, my fault, I can fix it. Microsoft wrote it, I'm the guinea pig, out of luck (or hacky fix). When I have stable libraries and objects I move on with a full understanding of my software foundations. I know very competent programmers who are not this way and are content with high level programming. Neither is more right if you asked me (which you obviously have not).

I was asleep, too... it wasn't exactly overdue, but the Release Candidate is out, and I have the beta installed for about half a year yet.

The meaning of life is about 42.00001 btw.

She was so Blonde, she spent 20 minutes looking at the orange juice can because it said "Concentrate."

When in doubt, read the FAQ.
    Then ask a smart question.
