    Swedish Chainsaws

My sister just emailed me a really funny list of actual warning labels found on products. By far the most likely to make all the guys here cringe and grab their "special area".

Swedish Chainsaw: Do not attempt to stop chain with genitals.

This is an insult to me as a Swede.

This links to the whole Sweden/(Switzerland) porn myth, we're all blond and blue eyed and we live in a sexual paradise.

Let me tell you this, I think it is such a pity to watch Ricki Lake (no, I don't think they represent all of the Americans), but still, we don't have many of those tragical cases over here. From what I've heard by chatting with many Americans online, they are much more focused on sex, than people I know over here, are.

By the way, I've got brown hair and brown eyes, my dad has even got black hair and brown eyes.

Yes I can take 'a funny notation'........but not stupid ones like this. This even had no class, no style, I think.

Jesus H Christ. Take a joke. Besides, if Sean's source is true (I've seen that, too, but it doesn't really mean anything), that's a real warning label.

Zewu, wake up on the wrong side of the bed? It wasn't a joke. And it wasn't a stab at sweden. If anything it's a stab at lawyers who cause these warning lables in the first place with stupid lawsuits. I can just imagine the lawsuit that caused this one.

Well, what is there to add here? I think American humor is simply stupid and obvious.

I've watched 'Jackass' several times, but it has never made me laugh. The same went with 'American Pie'. Shows like 'Fawlty Towers' or 'Àllo Àllo' though, they make me laugh all time when I'm watching them.

I'm a swede and I find that joke funny. Although I do agree with Zewu jackass and american pie arn't funny, shows like 'Fawlty Towers' or 'Àllo Àllo' are on the other hand.

Tons of people don't find Jackass and American Pie funny. America puts out more international stuff than any other country; do you really expect it all to be good? If Jackass and the like don't make you laugh, try Sports Night or something, but you likely won't get the jokes.

And don't post in another language.

What about Fraiser Zewu? That form of humour is similar to the British kind.

I find the simpsons very funny, family guy is freaking hilarious too, they are both American.

Zewu. That is just a funnny think about a chainsaw that happens to be in your country. America has many. Canada has many.

oh, Fraiser airs over here. Although, I haven't really watched it, I know my aunt likes it though. Well, it could be good.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that all TV that is produced in the US is bad, it's just that I don't like this typical 'brand' of humor referred to as 'American humor'. I mean, how could I pass a day without a dosage of satirical, American 'the Simpsons'?

Oh, ok. May I ask you, fib, if you consider me to have bashed America in this thread?
