Wow finished my exam and got my results.. only thing to do now is pack my bags to UK..
I scored 87.5% (700/800) and stand 2nd in class.... How are you graded in your college.. is it marks or some grades....
and by the way this is my 1000th post on this forum...

We in india follow the british spelling because it was the british who rules us and introduced English to us...

I have an Indian friend who used to go to school in India and he said that school in India is much more difficult than it is in America (assuming you go to an American school or something similar). So an 87.5% in America and in India definitely dont show the same level of achievement

The fist rank fellow got 88.25% (706/800)... I am presentlyfinished my II HND here... Will be joining 2nd year BS (computer Studies) directly in UK next month...
Here for each subject we have to write papers worth 600 marks and when we write the exam our answer sheets end up being more than 20 to 30 pages.. SO you can imagine how tuff it is... Here getting above 90% is some what a miracle...
How much % in US is it recognized to be good enough to be a class topper...
And we dont have the grading system like A, B etc... anything above 80% is considered as a distinction and only 1% of the people who write exams achieve it...
