I like linkin park. The guitar riffs in it are wicked. The guitarist from the band did all the bass and guitar tracks, and they have to hire another guitar player for their tour I think. I thought that was pretty coo since I play guitar. Im getting back into the old school stuff again though... Anyone like the cult?

I love Linkin Park. I just wish they will come out with a new album. And I hope the new album will have 4 min songs

I purchased the Linkin Park CD December 2000. I think it came out Sept 2000. I used to tell everyone about Linkin Park, about how cool they are and everything and they say Who's Linkin Park. Now people think they are awesome. I do too. I have since the first time I heard One Step Closer. I bought the CD the same day I heard the song, I liked it so much. I hope their album comes out before Christmas, so I can get it for Christmas.

They use to be my favorite band, until crawling...most of those songs are easy to get sick of...except for one step closer.

If you think you get sick of the songs quickly breach, you need to hear A Place for my Head. It is awesome.

The main problem with Linkin Park is that they aren't pushing any new boundaries, or being original. I used to listen to Korn back when nobody in the mainstream knew who they were (1996). Then Limp Bizkit came along, only sucessful cause Fred Durst knew Jonathan Davis (lead singer of Korn in case you didn't know). What annoys me is that bands like Linkin Park come along and act as though they are so original by doing rap-metal. Granted they can sing quite well, and the DJ does add to their sound, but it becomes very stale when there are 100 other bands doing the same thing.

They would have to be around a while to live up to that.

I remember Rage Against the Machine coming out in what......93??

They were the first big rap/metal crossover band to make it to the big time. Before that youve got a few not so visible bands that lead up to it. Suicidal Tendancies for one.........I think they were going since what mid/early eighties????

Rage against the machine are better than linkin park, well their first album anyway. Mind you their songs seem to be a bit more political as generally all they sing about is f***ing the American system.
