I just want enough money to be able to have an apartment and food, otherwise I just want to write games all day.

I'm getting pretty good at it, too.

I try extremely hard in German class, but nothing ever sticks. Its terrible. I had high grades in German until this year, and everything just, hit a block, or something. I hate my earth science class. I sleep every class, and i still have an average in the 90's. My math is in the low 90's and high 80's, english, high 80's, ss, varies, depending on if I do my homework. If I do the homework, its usaly in the high 80's, maybe low 90's.
Oh, next year, the comp prog courses are dropping c++ for .net java, and vb. Ugghh.

Windoze - Wie viel Deutsch sprichst du? (for the others...how much German do you speak?) I probably blundered in the grammar or something there, but I'm tired and also hate German class. I actually do more than hate it, I detest, despise, and loathe it. Oh yeah. I'm in German III, and I won't be taking German IV because of how much I dislike it.

I'm also angered with the sudden switch of all the comp sci stuff from C++ to Java. I wanted to take the AP Comp Sci test next year, without having taken the class, since it isn't offered. However, now if I want to do that, I'm going to have to learn Java...I'm not sure it will be worth it. It's bad enough teaching yourself *most* of the curriculum for an AP class in less than a month (did that this year for physics b, I only knew a little bit of it)...teaching myself everything in the course may require more time than I am willing to sacrifice. And, really...isn't C++ harder than Java? Doesn't a test in C++ show that the person is more compitent in programming? If they're going to have a test in Java, they could at least make it seperate and leave the C++ alone...
    Away.

Well, they really test programming concepts on the AP. I think the test was in Pascal before it was in C++. Now, it's going to be in Java. Ask collegeboard if you want to know why.

Ich spreche nicht gut Deutch. I dont even know exactly what I said, except that a German could probably get the idea.
The only good thing about freezing beyond feeling in the final Nordic ski race was that I couldn't feel that tumble I did going about 30 mph, maybe more.
On the other hand, not feeling any part of my body for 30 minutes was scary, especialy for my manhood.

I think changing the AP to java is gay, i took it this year since it was still C++ and passed.

And how do you know this? The AP test results don't come until July.

    Red face

You know what the teacher told me? That they changed the course because the colleges started using java, who started using it because "its the most common language in the working world."

    Can we all cry B.S.?!?!

You said, to quote the words in the same order so you know what they mean, "I speak not good German." It makes sense in German...I'm guessing you're a first year student if you didn't know what that meant.
    Away.

Bah! College Board isn't exactly sure what they're doing. I think they chose it because Java books come with more pretty pictures. I just hope they don't butcher it like they did C++ with the ridiculous AP Classes.

One thing I discovered is it you slack off the first year, you have to work exceptionally hard to get the grades up the next few years.

But if you work hard the first couple years, slacking off the last year doesn't screw up your GPA much (only your future, but that's a different matter ;-)

89 is your highest grade....and you say school is not difficult. If it wasn't difficult you'd be passing with a 95 or better in each class.

i'd say you're going to hell man...

EDIT: isn't it apprends, zach? not apprenes....
