    Software Evaluation

Hello, umm, I am just curious, but is there a way to extend the trial period of softwares? What I mean is some companies provide trial versions of softwares that can only be used for a certain period of time. Is there a way to fix the program so that it will still run properly after the limited trial period?

    Thanks

It's illegal. Thats why it is a trial version that is time limited.

What hinders you to evaluate it twice ? Or three times ? *g*

When in doubt, read the FAQ.

yes there is a way. buy a new computer every thirty days and install the trial software on there. Once the software expires buy a new computer. Common, do it, it'll help the tech industry......

Another route is to get good with ASM/Binary code. If you work at it you could learn it in about 3 days. Hell, I'm sure Sams have out out a "become an ulitmate hacker in 24 hours". I prefer the dummies book though.

Do you think resetting the clock would do it?

Probably not. The trial version probably reads off of your BIOS.

I assume registering is out of the question. You could look at the instalation log see what changes where made and undo ALL of them.

Just work with it for the number of days and if you like it that much, then just buy the software.

What do you mean, how do you do that?

I am just curious, but I don't actually have a software I want to keep after trial time, haha.

Software owners sometime use the dll libry files to keep track of the evaluation time. We should not practice it. First you have to moral support to do that. Anyway.. there are ways..

We better talk about, how can we protect our product?
