    Depends on your platform, compiler and graphics mode. See Brackeen.com for tutorials in mode13 (320x200x256)

    figure it's format... basically it's the header and the pallete/colorcodes or rgb... depends on which type it is... plus there's compression options too that you might want to have compatibility for... i can provide more information if it is requested...
