The knack of flying is learning to throw yourself at the ground and miss.
You don't need box designs speaker/company-specific. Just look in a physics book(meant for speaker design) and read about how certain different attributes change certain aspects of the music. For example: Placing a speaker in a closed box will cause there to be more pressure, the outcome will be more precise output; however, if you allow pressure to escape by using a tube the sound output will be more crisp, but slightly less precise. Then you get into which way the speaker should face, etc.. I think my friend has afew designs, and explanations. I'll try to get it for you over the next couple of days.

But I actually need the manufacturars designs. The usually have the exact design for the sub. But I have been unable to get one from pioneer
