    Unhappy evil evil empirical authority....

    Time: 6:00
Cause: IE being mean to David
Effect: David decides to download a newer version of Netscape than the one he currently has (v4.0)

    David downloads Netscape 7.0.

    Time: 8:30

    David installs Netscape.

    David types in: www.subprofile.org
    Netscape goes to: www.netscape.com

    David is perplexed.

    David types in: www.subprofile.org
    Netscape goes to: www.netscape.com

    David scratches head....

    David types in: www.cprogramming.com/cboard
    Netscape goes to: www.netscape.com/news

    David is annoyed....

    David types in: google
    Netscape goes to: www.netscape.com/news

    David is angry...

David uses Netscape's google powered search option to bypass the evil empirical authority Netscape's browser is inflicting upon David.

David searches for www.cprogramming.com using google powered search option on Netscape.

    David finally reaches Cboard.

    David is annoyed.

David is afraid to leave or else Netscape might trap him again and he will never be able to get out.

That's really funny, David. I like your stories; they're always very entertaining...

Yeah, try Opera; it's ten times better than IE, imo. There are so many great features, and it, also, seems like it goes faster than IE, but that may only be my imaginiation.

Thats weird. I have never heard anything like that.

I think we should make the titel of this thread 'Praise Opera'.

    Opera Rules.

Try Mozilla. It's basically Netscape without the added AOL plugs and commercialware. It's also quite often more up to date than Netscape, which uses an older version of Mozilla at the core.

By the way, it's always best to avoid anything emperical, like objective science. Opionated authorities are much better, and they're not burdened with matters like the truth, facts, and observability. The Microsoft empire would probably be a good opionated, as opposed to emperical, authority. Right now they're telling me Internet Explorer is super.

I think he was hinting that Opera rules in his opinion. Typically when a person makes a statement it is assumed that they mean it in their own opinion. It would be quiet tedios if every time if after every statement we had to declare that the statement is only in your own opinion.
