Guess there's not going to be a war after all - just got this off the wire:

PRESIDENT BUSH AGREES TO MORE INSPECTORS (AP) Washington DC 10:00 AM (EST),

President George Bush has made an announcement that we will not attack Iraq.

The President has announced that as of today, he is agreeing to additional inspectors to be deployed throughout the country of Iraq. We will be sending 250,000 additional inspectors into Iraq. The additional inspectors will include:

    - 24,000 members of the 1st Infantry Division

    - 15,000 members of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault)

    - 15,000 members of the 82d Airborne Division

    - More than 5,000 members of the 4th armored division with their "M1-A1 all-terrain vehicles"

    - Additional U.S. Army personnel, as needed for inspections

    - A variety of U.S. Air Force personnel for aerial recon missions and other "surveillance" activities.

    - A significant number of United States Marines to aid with inspections

    - United States Coast Guard personnel to inspect coastlines

    - An undisclosed number of Rangers, Green Berets, Navy Seals, Recon Marines, Delta Force, and other:

    - Special Operations personnel to inspect Iraqi "hide-aways"

    - MOAB and Daisy-Cutter bunker access devices

    - Special air deliveries to aid the inspections will be made by aircraft from the USS Constellation, USS George Washington, USS Abraham Lincoln and USS Enterprise.

_The President stated: "With these additional resources, the inspections should be completed in a few weeks (not months -- not years)."

Well, what about us in South Africa? Will we be left alone? I think not. Just because of the sheer amount of Muslems (NO OFFENSE MEANT) in our country, we just may become a target? Is that fair?

    Go America Go!!!
Well, here we are preparing the special rooms (have no idea how to tell this in english), well, these rooms that you cannot stay more than 3-4 hours
i heard of those rooms.its to protect ppl from gas etc.. normally it should be the safest place in the house (if that is what you ment)
I hope USA will kick some iraqians ass, will be funny.
Hope this will be fast too, and not so many soldier will be killed.
a contradiction ::kick some ass<=>not many soldiers killed::
Anyway in a war ppl get killed thats reality.
But i guess 400 years ago a lot more ppl would get killed ( of course not when you throw a nuke ) in a war then now. Nowadays i
think that there will be more civilian casualties. ( for instance a missile that missed target and enters someone's living room )

Yes, it's the safest place in the house, there is no windows here, the doors are closed and so on, you cannot stay more than 3-4 hours here, I'm still not there, we're waiting for the alert.

I know that iraq civilians will get killed, but that's a war, nothing can be done to prevent this. I hope that USA will not loose serious number of soldiers, yes I know, war is war, I'm just hoping.

What about all the countries that is against war or don't even have very good military capabilities? Will they just be dragged into the war and expected to "survive"?

I don't see why having muslims in your country makes you a target. We have loads in our country too, and we're the ones doing the bombing.

You know, if it was just the President's speech that ruined my
Monday night, I wouldn't have cared. But it was a 2 hour special
on how the war affects the media. I don't care how the war
affects the media; I don't care about their nerdy photo-journalists.
Yeah, they're so brave, and they deserve the utmost respect from
us (sarcasm). They're risking their lives for the most important
    purpose of all... ratings.

Freak. Someone was suppose to die on "the practice" last night.
Some girl; Helen or Lindsay. Last week ended with a cliff-hanger.
And now I'll never know... I don't want to live anymore.

Thirdly, I never said I "knew you" or your "psyche". You get so ........ed off when I make some random comment about your ravings. If you're so much smarter than I, why not ignore me? You don't care about what I think, but yet I bet you spent at least 5 minutes responding to two pointless b1tching comments I made before I had any caffiene this morning.

Grow up. Give a $hit about something other than tv.
Actually, my post took a lot longer than 5 mintues. Probably closer
to 15. I wrote a lot more than I ended up posting. I touched on
issues ranging from the ugliness of your girlfriend, to the lameness
of your avatar. I would have posted it, but I ran out of space. 10,000
characters isn't enough to accurately convey the reasons behind
    my hatred for you.

And I never said I was smarter than you; I just said that you're not
as smart as you think you are. I've actually, on numerous
occassions, claimed to be an idiot. I don't consider myself to be
smart at all. I'm lazy, too.

I don't like fighting with you, you're not fun. You don't get me angry
the way -Ken- does. Your posts actually make me sad. Your insults
are shallow and predictable; they're analogous to calling an obese
man "fatso." Yeah, real clever. Come on, at least put an effort into
insulting me. I deserve at least that much...

"Hey fatso, you're a fattie, fatboy... You eat twinkies."
