Dancing banana...

Sorry this is completely non-programming related, but I'm coming from another message board (www.clockcrew.cc/bbs), and the user 'Krak' made a slightly outrageous claim...

He said someone named 'Brain' with the AIM SN: computerBMJ was the person who created the attatched '.gif'. This might seem kind of pointless, but this image is fairly popular on the internet, and with nothing to back himself up with I think this person may just be making it up. So can anyone confirm/deny the truth in this statement? Thanks.

Edit: BTW - he told me to come here to ask about this person.

Of course he invented it. Who else would have?

Yep, it sure does.

>>I think this person may just be making it up
So what if they were? Are you the Internet Truth Police or something?
When all else fails, read the instructions.
If you're posting code, use code tags:
/* insert code here */
It's just something that really bothers me; when someone claims someone else' work as their own.

I'm just a little paranoid about this kind of thing because it's happened to me or I've seen it happen to someone else too many times.

As far as I know of BMJ created it but you said it yourself: "it's pointless". Especially considering Al Gore invented the internet and therefore has rights to everything displayed on it according to Supreme Court Order #uR-Z0-l337-iT-h3rtz.

BMJ didn't create it, his "special friend" () Jon did.

I wish I could find you the page where he made carrots, peppers, etc to go along w/ the banana....but rest assured, Krak is right (ew, that felt icky to say)

WTF Ken? That's a HALF-TRUTH.....

The banana wasn't made by anyone here, it was made by aliens, just like the internet was back in nineteen-dickity two.

Naturally I didn't feel inspired enough to read all the links for you, since I already slaved away for long hours under a blistering sun pressing the search button after typing four whole words! - Quzah

I still like the classic Mortal Kombat flash animation parody at new grounds which had that dancing bannana dancing around to DJ Chip Man - Peanut Butter Jelly Time. That was catchy.
