    Audio CD File Extension

I'm doing a powerpoint presentation and I have a CD with a montage of presidential speeches that I wanted top use. Unfortunately, PowerPoint won't take the music straight off the CD. I was thinking of getting a utility from CNet or something that converted to WAV files, but I'm not sure what the file extension is for Audio CDs. I tried looking, but XP doesn't show it, and I always thought it was MP3, but that didn't work. Can anyone help me out here or offer an alternative solution?

    Search for a CD Ripper.

The extension is CDA, but don't think you can just copy them and play 'em. They are basically like pointers to positions on the CD. If you try to copy them to your HD and play them, nothing will happen.
