C++ is a language, also if you don't use it for conversation. Everybody can define his or her own language. Most of you who have studied computer science or a related study have learned about language theory and probably had to design their own languages as an excercise.

But it is not a natural language. A natural language is a language that was not constructed using the rules of mathematics, but evolved with the human beings. Though it is interesting to see that those natural languages can be analysed in quite a mathematical way now, for some reason humans natural languages evolved to languages with sometimes quite a difficult grammar. Or perhaps it is the nature of a language to have a grammar. Hmmm, what was first, the language or the grammar?
