    Valentine's Day

And how is everyone spending the wonderful Hallmark holiday of Valentine's Day this year?

I'll be spending the money I'd normally spend on a girlfriend on booze and the expansion for Battlefield 1942.

    Anyone else?

    BATTLEFIELD 1942

I'm gonna go help a friend paint his new room and then...go home and play some BATTLEFIELD 1942!! HOORAH that game rock! I'm gonna go buy the expansion as soon as I can figure out when my friggin bank is open (I always go and its closed...). The new Coral Sea map is awesome. Omaha Beach is awesome. The whole game is AWESOME!...now I wanna get out of skool and play...**whimper**... oh yeah, I might go play some DDR too

Will spend all day programming as I usually do. Then I am going to see LOTR Twin Towers in the evening. Haven't seen it yet.

I've only been playing for about a week, but my favorites so far are Guadlacanal, Midway, Wake, and Berlin. Omaha's cool, but once the allies get into the rear base, it's super hard to get them out.

Valentine's Day is a joke, really. Not one of us who has posted yet has a "valentine," which leads me to believe that this tradition is really a myth. We all know it was invented by some profiteering Roman priest a long time ago so that Hallmark, Fanny May, and 1-800-Flowers could make money off the saps who believe in the myth.

No, it's honestly not true that I am just bitter that I don't have a girlfriend to share the holiday with. What would have given anyone that idea?

Me? Well, it is also my birthday so my missus asked me what I wanted.

I said C&C Generals. Cant wait.

Still, wont be much of a surprise mind you 'cos it is only released in UK on the 14th. It will be like "Just nipping out to the shop".......hehe.

And I am off work until Sunday-perfect.

Well, tomorrow, our outdoors club is having a bbq, so I'm going to help out with that. It will be after school, we planned it to be the same day as a home basketball game, which happens to be our one of our rivals. It also happens to be Valentine's Day. We're hoping quite a few people show up to the games and they'll buy a burger or hot dog as well, or just buy some food, if they aren't going to the games.

Other than that, I don't have anything else planned for tomorrow. School, bbq, maybe a game or two. After that, maybe hang out with some friends or something.

As for this weekend, no real plans yet. Four day weekend for me, so it should be fun (hopefully).
