Um, I don't technically have a "real" job, but I work nights during the weekdays (I have (high) school during the day), I work days on Saturday, and on Sundays it varies. I hate working nights on the weekends, because it feels like I'm waiting around all day just to go to work, which is very boring.

EDIT: I didn't vote b/c I don't feel that the poll applies to me all that much

Not really, you would know if you worked a job. School and work are two completely different things.

During work terms, I work the day shift - at school it's the night and day shifts...

I'm sure they are, but when you are up until 4:30 am still doing homework (starting at 3 pm or so); school is definitely a day and night shift...

I have had a few nights where 1am or later has occurred...

edit: "You would know if you worked a job"...as far as that goes, I simply just don't have the time right now.

I work the 11 pm - 7am shift and have access to a computer, which explains my posting times here. I'm married and past
social climbing, so the peace and quiet of late nights suits
me just fine. Working days here sucks - too many bosses around.

    Constant nights are NO fun.

I have in the past done constant nights.

Soon, you forget about reality etc.

It is not worth working constant nights just to escape 'the bosses'

    Such is life.

I know a guy who only works weekends, but he works 30 hours then. So, he works 15 hours a day on Saturday and Sunday. Then, Monday through Friday he just chills or teaches as a substitute teacher.

    Sounds good to me.

I did many years on the night shift.

    Rotating nights are the worst.

For two months you work 8pm to 6am. Three days later you are on 12am to 8pm for a month.

I still have insomnia attacks five years later. Amazing how much you can accomplish if you don't sleep for three days. (and how much of it later turns out to be total crap)

    >> Working days here sucks - too many bosses around.

I hate bosses. For some reason, at my work they want me to always be working - not taking a second to take it easy unless in a break. Jeez, they think im only there to help make the store make a profit.
