    compression: zlib....?

What the hell is "zlib" compresion? I'm trying to unzip a multi-volume archive but cant do it with winzip.

Is there any other prgrams to do it with?

    the files are :

    kinst2.zip
    kinst2.z01
    kinst2.z02
    kinst2.z03
    kinst2.z04
    kinst2.z05
    kinst2.z06
    kinst2.z07
    kinst2.z08

    /EDIT

Got the latest version of winzip, but can only open the zip file. when I try to open the others, I get the message "Cannot open file: it does not appear to be an valid archive." How is this possible if I can open the first file?

You don't love me anymore ???

Aw, you just try to keep up that tough guy apearance. I don't mind the fangs or the flashing green eyes! We LUUURVE you.

Actually it was meant in a brotherly sense. As in, Jesus love, etc.

Lucky *I* have a solid enough self-image to say something like that and not be afraid of it being mis-interpreted.

Besides, no offense, but if I went that way, I'd get myself a rich sugardaddy rather. Your'e not as cute as you think, bru.

Hey, someone's gotta dis you around here. They give you too much respek round these parts.

    Must be the pic.

    Brotherly love,
    Gustav

Newbie... you call be a NEWBIE !?!?

Ohhh, brother... you better gen on you asbestos overcoat....

How doth thee dare call ME a newbie ?!?! I've been programming when you still tried to figure out how to spell "ABC". *I* have been programming since age 6.5! Beat THAT Bios ninja bugger dude! All you did at that age was play TV games. Nothing wrong with TV games. Wish I had them at that age. But still, you DARE call me a newbie ? A NEWBIE ?!?!

*I* am a dyed in the fabric, genuine, made-in-taiwan, REAL, computer nerd since BIRTH almost. I made "Mama" noises at the MEDICAL SUPPORT EQUIPMENT when I heard it BEEP at me!

I Ate Copper Wires When I Was A Baby. Sticking my fingers in electric plugs only ENCOURAGED ME to do it again! If he had humanoid robots, I would BE ONE.

Now, ye of little computer background, (Except for us going to school together and studying together), can ye equal THAT ?!

    Newbie. Sheesh.

    Brotherly hate, ,
    Gustav

    I accept you apology.

So I'm a slight newbie to the board. So what? Is it my fault I have no job? Is the state of the computer industry MY fault ?

    *SIGH*

OK. I do like flames and flamethrowers. Noem my sommer vlamkat. That means "Call me flame-cat" for you Anglophones out there in the never-neverland known as the rest of the world.

    *SIGH*

    I want a job.

    Gustav
