    What are the best video games youve played??

    in relation to the good and bad movies thread i was thinking maybe we should start a video game thread. so what are the best video games youve played and why?

    Probably metal gear solid for the story line and network counter-strike for the sheer playability.

    PC: Privateer or Morrowind
    N64: Goldeneye or Perfect Dark
    SNES: A Link to the Past or Street Fighter 2
    XBox : Halo (one of 2 games I've played for it)
    PS2: GTA: Vice City
    Gamecube: Sanity's Requiem

    Hmm.. lesse, Metal Gear Solid (PSX) , FF7 (PSX) and Secret of Mana (SNES)

    I agree with minesweeper for counter-strike...
    I like staregy games like RedAlert... My favourite game is Resident Evil...
    none...

    There's also minesweeper's namesake, of course. I've wasted plenty of time w/ that and the other free games bundled w/ Windows. Those and Bejeweled.

    i used to like red alert like ammar and other westwood games until i discovered starcraft. starcraft blows red alert command and conquer and the sequel out of the water.

    2. Amstrad CPC6128: The Bards Tale
    3. Xbox: Splinter Cell
    4. PS2: GTA3 - Vice City
    5. PSone: FFVIII
    6. N64: Goldeneye
    7. GBC: Metal Gear
    8. GBA: The Two Towers
    9. C64: Impossible Mission ("Stay a while, stay forever!!!!")
    10. Atari ST: Xenon

    Anyone remember Spy vs Spy? That was gooooood!! Gotta be one of the contenders for most playable games ever accounting for technology limitations of the time.

    One of my favorite games for the PC has to be Warzone 2100. I just enjoyed building units (tanks, planes, etc) and researching new stuff and then blowing the .......... out of the other person

    Recently, I've become addicted to the Tigers Woods 2003 golf game for my PS2.
