Anyone know a webcasting radio station in Australia which carries live cricket commentary - I searched and found loads of general music and news stations but not the live commentary. I was trying to find VB Cup commentary if that makes any difference.

I usually use the Java applet on www.baggygreen.com.au, I have not checked this link very well, so it may not be what you wanted - but give this ago - appears to be live webcast of the TV commentary.Commentary here?

There are something like 88 member nations of the ICC - I am having trouble figuring out who they are! Does Denmark have a national team?

I lived in England for a great many years, (although I haven't been back for perhaps 5 years - wife has been making shopping trip noises...).
Whilst there, I played cricket for my company and local pub side, I developed a great love of the game, and English beer incidently. I think "Test Match Special" the BBC's live cricket commentary program, is one of the most entertaining audio experiences available - luckily webcast now.

Yes. On the one occasion I've seen cricket on Danish television, Denmark were beaten convincingly by a touring Lancashire side. Denmarks ladies team made the last 16 of one of the world cups a few years ago. Sadly, there are no local sides for me to play with.

It is very much a minority sport, but there are a few sides, and there are a considerable number of English expats that live around Copenhagen and a few of the other big cities. There is a bit of interest, I hope it increases.

They played VERY well. Full credit to them beating Australia, probably the best side in the world at the moment. Bloody entertaining game that was! He played a one day (local competition) game a week ago, only 26 days after his shoulder dislocation - he is an outside chance for this wednesdays game against Sri Lanka - but is probably more likely to be rested another week. But otherwise it looks like he is OK.Any of you know what is Shane Warnes condition now?
I don't like our (Australias) chances against Sri Lanka this week. While our batting side is strong (although it looks like Gilchrist is out) - we lost ANOTHER bowler. McGrath may not be in the side again, Warne will probably be rested, Gillespie is out and now Bichel is probably out. Grrrrr!
It wasn't all that long ago that Australia was in the same position - we lost against the West Indies, South Africa, England you name it. Back in the days with Gatting and Botham - England were the superior team. Vaughan has had an absolutely incredible year.
I'm glad Warne is coming back, what a cricketter he is. True we are often on the receiving end, (with the bat as well - damn entertaining!), but you have to admire the guy - that is the true spirit of cricket.

There does seem to have been the same names in the side for a while, but there have also been a few new names recently. Certainly the England squad has a lot of new players, (new to me - as I said, I get a little out of touch). Good for the sport.
It is certainly true that national sides have a great patch for several years then fall into the doldrums, look at the West Indies.

Should be interesting to see what pans out over the World Cup - it appears as though some of the host nations wont be hosting games as planned due to worries about player security which is a shame. The games may all be played in South Africa.

Yes - I thought the greatest thing about the recent Ashes tour was the Barmy Army on the hill singing their songs no matter how much trouble the English team were in. That is a great show of spirit and captures the essence of the sport. But it was nice to see that England could bring us back to earth though - and how! Nearly got us again on the weekend too! Funny game cricket, how fortunes can change so quickly. Sanath Jayasuriya is a great example - very poor scores all season then decides to go out and hit a few and scores two centuries on the trot!- that is the true spirit of cricket.
