I Register on the first day I visit the site because I was looking for a group of exclusive C programmers.
So, I did not hesitate to include me.

none...
Around 10-12 months for me. Found it when i actually became more serious about my c++.
Well, at least when i knew some stuff, and didnt annoy everyone with stupid newbie questions all the time
IDE: Dev C++ 5
Lib: Allegro
OS: Windows 2000
>>> Not to mention the board before the old Ultra-Board
Ah well, when I surfed in for the first time, it was the old Ultraboard. In fact, it had just become it because I remember reading some of the messages concerning things "I like/dislike this feature", "this was better/worse on the old board" and so on. In fact, many of the topics raging then still crop up and rage every now and again on this board - says a lot about something...
Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity unto the dream.
Desember...that's all I can remember. Whenever we had that stupid board glitch in the old UBB script that caused the date to read "Desember", it was probably a little before that. I just said 1.5-3yrs to be on the safe side. I came after the old board's colors were changed to blue, but a few months before the Newbie Board was banished for good.
Hmm...maybe it's been more than 3 years? Somebody change my vote to more accurately reflect how much of my life I've wated here! (I'm pretty sure it's been a bit over 3, so really - could someone change my vote?)
Damn, cheez, go take a look at your join date, and then go take a look at mine.Originally posted by Govtcheez
7 years? has the board really been around that long? My 2 year anniversary's in about a month.
Hmmmm, except for kermi's I don't see any join dates berfore
8/10/01. Actually, I'm sure I joined here the previous December under the old board.

Iv been here almost a year.Wished i had more time to actualy learn something usefull, have learned a lot from here though.I am dedicated now.
I started in summer 2002, not sure the month. I joined when I became serious about learning C++. I had been on and off for a few months about learning it. I first tried to read a book on C++ a couple of years ago but couldn't make sense of it. CProgramming has made a big difference in my programming life.

on the old board I was known as wiseguy. Or was my nickname Sunlight ?. (I wish )
But I don't think anyone remembers that I made about 10 posts on the old board. I wasn't even registered.

holy puritan turd! there's more to cprogramming.com than the messageboard? NO ONE EVER TOLD ME! pfffPlease note if you've used the site for a significantly longer time than the message boards.
I joined with the old board back in June or so of '01. Anyone got a link to the old board, by the way?
Code:#include <cmath> #include <complex> bool euler_flip(bool value) { return std::pow ( std::complex<float>(std::exp(1.0)), std::complex<float>(0, 1) * std::complex<float>(std::atan(1.0) *(1 << (value + 2))) ).real() < 0; }

The old board got accidentally deleted... There was still a copy of it on the Wayback Machine, last time I checked.
