Thread: I h8 network admins!!!!

Yo,

I really really have a big grudge on school network admins.
Get this, today at school i was just playing with the registry geting file shares in the corner of the room, suddnly the i can do **** and i see this txt entered on my screen "COME TO SERVER ROOM NOW". I was like ***** and i hit the power and pegged it out the room, BUT the admin guy was standing out the window and stopped me. then he took me to his (house) server room and gave me a 15 min lecture on what i was doing. I think hes a complete freak, hes scottish(no offence) short and spends his life locked up spying on ppl.

Argh, just a bad day i guess.....

At least he is doing his job. Why do that stuff at school?

Have y'all heard the stories coming out about anthrax practical
jokes? Man! People are being put in jail and getting suspended
indefinitely from their jobs. One case was an ordained minister
who sent his boss a powdery white envelope with some kind
of note. LOL . Careful what you say, people. Nobody's in a
joking mood right now.

we were in a unix systems lecture the other day - and it got onto email and how it is monitored. Someone suggested putting a disclaimer at the top
saying this email does not contain
drugs, sex, violence, terrorism etc because it get nailed by every filter in place - if you want to ........ off sysad and you have mail filters try this!

at least in my school the only time I have computer time is first hour, and my teacher IS the admin

he almost never does his job, except policing those in his class. we can do pretty much whatever we want - I changed the console startup thing from "Microsoft Windows 98" to all these weird things. I even changed it to 95 and asked him why it said that if the computer had 98 - that confused him well . I actually believe that I'm probably better wih computers/programming than him!

Oh well...heh, my friend even has Sub7 on his computer there and does it across the network I keep TELLING him to take it off...

The only thing I really hate is the firewall which blocks sites they deem "inappropriate" - DAMNED CYBERNAZIS!

I hate it when I know more/ better then my teacher. It very futurating and often leads to extra work.

Second: Can someone please post the windows XP startup screen. I want to confuse my dad.

Maybe I don't know more about programming (I dunno, maybe...) because he has his own company called Mc^2 (Mc-squared) systems
