I bought my Superior 24x cd burner for $65 back in August. The brand name isn't all that well known, but the burner has still worked perfectly fine for me. Not to mention, that 3 weeks ago I got a $30 mail-in-rebate check in the mail. So that means I wound up getting my cd burner for a total of $35...beat that!

I just bought my burner in Sept. http://www.optorite.com/ it's this brand - which of course noone's heard of.

It's 48x24x8 I think the 8 is right everything else is, It was only $52.00 plus S&H, it came with NERO burning software which is the only one that seems to support that brand but NERO is better than ROXIO in my experiences.

Wow, I got mine a year ago, came with the computer as part of the package its 12 - 8 - 32, I think I may have to upgrade looking at the speeds everyone else has. However, I dont use it that often, so maybe I shouldnt upgrade, but with these deals...I may consider it.

I have a 12-10-32 TDK. A Phillips 12-8-32 came with my comp. I switched to the TDK because I had it on my old comp. and its a better burner, in my experience, more stable and less errors. Upgrading to me doesn't seem crucial because 3 min. or 5 min., that 2 min. diff. doesn't bother me when burning.

Yeah it's a nice deal, I wish I had one when I bought mine...
I had one internal burner, and it is great, but when I bought my LapTop I had to buy an external one, it's very slow, 4x, so I really apreciate fast burners...
    none...
