Regarding Kashmir and the closed thread

I've never done this before, and I apologize to the administrators
of cprogramming for any offense taken, but I think the Kashmir
discussion is important enough (to me, anyway) to be taken to
another site and debated at length if the parties involved
so wish. I found the closed thread here to be very, very interesting and I for one would like to hear more. In view of
that if Zeeshan, Vasanth, Jawwadalam, and other interested
parties wish to continue the Kashmir dialogue, then the
flashdaddee.com forums will greet them with open arms and
respect and listen and also participate in this critical subject.
All we ask, as was asked of you here, is that you respect the
rights and opinions of those with whom you are corresponding.
For the flashdaddee community, I do hope to see you there.

Ok i agree with you.. I am an India .. and i am ready to discuss issues as long as it does not go into a flame.. I agree to respect the views of others here.. Even people from Pakistan.. But i want them also to agree with it.... Let us have a clean logical debate..


Point No 1) India sucessfullt held Polls in J & K and there was a large turnout and a democratic leaderships has been eleced.

2) The world knows that the election held in Pakistan was not fare. THis was confirmed by high level diplomats of bith US and the UK, so pakistan does not have a moral ground questioning the Polls in J & K.

3) Musharaf has acepted that there are terrorists and he wants to create a society free of terrorists. then why does he tell that there are no terrorists when it comes to the issue of J & K.

4) If Pakistan is fighting for the freedom of the people then why did it give a part of Kashmir in its controll to China. So in effect it sold a part of kashmir to China.. Whill any country do this unless the land does not belong to them.

5) I agree that the Gujarath issue in india was bad and it left a wrong image. But as the US diplomat said the entire country remained peacefull and did not follow suit and the Governments in India cannot survive without the Muslim Vote bank.

6) India is a nation of many religion, languages and races. Where as Pakistan in an islamic republic. ANd pakistan supports the Muslim Law which is atrocious.. and it does not know the maning of Human Rights and tollerance towards other religions.. ( I again agree Gujarath was wrong on our part as Indians and i am ready to accept the fault and i pray that this does not happen again)

7) And Indias wanted terrorist Anees Ibrahim was deported from Dubai to Pakistan withou proper deportion procedures even though India had sought his deportion.. This has happened many times and this proves it harbours terrorists.

8) And many people are sympathitic toward pakistan because of its size. They say pakistan cannot win against India because India is big and is militarily powerfull.. But the fact remains Pakistan intention is to Slow Bleed India to Death.

9) And why dont people talk about the Kargil war. When our PM went to pakistan (Bus Trip) to initiate peace. they returned this by attacking the Kargil sector and thus Kargil war happened and Pakistan Lost.

10) During the times of our PM Indira Gandhi when we won Pakistan in a war and captured many terrotiries we returned them saying we will talk peace.(Foolish of us Then).

11) We have won 4 wars with pakistan and remember none of them were initiated by us.

12) Per capita expenditure by the government is the highest in J & K in India (on civic facilities and education).

13) Over the past few months we have seen that many temples in india have been stromed by terrorists from Pakistan.

14) You don't see any Indian calling gujarat killers as "freedom fighters", do you?

I always wonder why pakistan omitted jammu in its kashmir cause.Mr.Rahmat Ali who gave the concept of pakistan to Jinnah did not bother to mention jammu.pakistan is group name of punjab,kashmir sindh and Baluchistan.did he think jammu was not a part of kashmir?or its hindui population forced him not to go for that place?if it was population alone,how sindh was included in `pakistan'?

Please don't continue the debate here, as I think the mods will just close it again. Look forward to seeing you there. I'll probably
get involved in this as I do have some feelings about the
Muslims vs the World issue, although I'll try to stay within the
confines of the Kashmir subject.

The other thread was closed, (not by me), because it was a bump of an ancient thread. In any topic as dynamic as this one, bringing an old thread up is invariably poor because the comments made in it reflect the position at the time of writing.

(The last post made to the thread before the bump was in June).

People tend not to look at the dates of the messages. Comments made back then may now be inappropriate. People, for example, reporting something "they just heard" may be dismissed as being to out of touch to listen too and so on.

In general, we tend to close bumps of old threads, but would not object to people beginning a new thread should they think the topic of interest.
