I don't have any tattoo, and it's because I'm not sure that I won't change my mind and want to remove the tattoo, whatever it was.

    In other words, I don't have anything I'm sure I won't change.

Do threads in this room just go around and around in a never ending cycle?

I'm sure this was one of the first questions I ever replied to...

Yes, I have a tattoo on my left arm (roundabouts the shoulder area) which is Japanese for Music.

    Looks nice enough...

I'm convinced that when men get chinese characters tattooed on them they all say "little penis".

    shad that doesn't suprise me.

To answer your question, its a custom tribal design on my right arm, below the arm pit but high enough the shirt sleeve will cover it on a t-shirt. I will be posting the pics of when i was getting it done and of it when i get em back.

Tattoos are stupid. Despite what most people think, they aren't
a form of self-expression. The only reason people get them is to
show off and pretend that they're some sort of rebel.

I beg to differ. Most tatto's have a story and most go as far as to be custom artwork by the maker or tattoo-e, and in my opinion this makes them a form of expression. To say a tattoo isn't a form of expression is just dumb if you think about it.

As of right now I don't have a tattoo. I'm not really planning on getting one either. But I've always wondered what I would get it of if I did get a tattoo. I've never really thought of anything that I would like. Maybe that's one of the reasons that I don't have one.

Whatever. An expression requires an act. Ideas aren't a form
of expression. Anybody can come up with an idea, but that
doesn't mean they're an artist. Writing, painting, composing
music, sculpting -- these are forms of expression. These artists
are taking their ideas/emotions and actually turning them into
something. They're not telling someone else to do it for them.

You can claim to be expressing yourself all you want, but in my
eyes the tattoo-ee is nothing more than a walking piece of
    canvas.

If you tattooed yourself in a fit of rage, then maybe I would
think about perhaps considering that maybe you were probably
    expressing yourself. Maybe.

I know I've said this before (either here or at FD), but I can't
    find the thread...
