I don't remember how many hours I wasted on Ikari Warriors. It wasn't that good of a game but it kept me occupied for a looooonnnggg time. Anybody remember the code for more lives in that game? Wasn't it ABBA or something?

[edit]BattleToads... yes Sang-Drax, I remember that game, it was one of the coolest I ever played. For me one of the best parts of that game was the music played when you paused it.[/edit]

There was this one ninja game, I cant remember the name of it. It was where you had this sword that you powered up as you progressed and it got longer, there were powerups, like, a bird to save you if you fell, and black and red/pink? balls to collect that did something i cant remember, and you also could get a powerup to make you shoot 4 ninja stars in 4 directions, you could also jump insanely high, you got keys and had to fight boss's in different doors. The first level is with lots of trees and you fight a samuri on a giant tree at the end of the first level.

I have that game esparno, I believe that it is called Demon Sword or something like that. Oh, and ffv has been released in the U.S. on the playstation as part of ff anthology (it's a great game regardless). Have you beaten shinryuu in the n-zone?

He's in a treasure box just before the final boss. If you are not level 99 and do not have all members with 2 dragon lances (dropped by crystal dragons), do not open the chest. Shinryuu has about 50000 hp and many attacks that do 9999 to your whole party, and has enough speed to get a turn for every member of your party. If you have the dragon lances, equip them and a coral ring (he uses tsunami first thing) and just jump. That will kill him instantly. The box contains the sword ragnarok, the most powerful weapon in the game.

No, unfortunately it was a game lent to me from someone who had rented it from some rental place. I only got a chance to play it for a couple days but it made a big impression upon me. I remember that one of the early boss fights had you picking up rocks or something and flinging them at the screen because the whole fight took place from the first-person perspective of the enemy boss. I also remember never being able to make it past some type of rocket-sled level where you jumped on these sleds and the screen moved insanely fast and you had to jump over pits or something like that. It was so long ago and I only remember bits and pieces of it now. If anyone still has an NES, this would be a worthwhile game to pick up if you can find it.

I loved that game! I've got a couple CDs of NES ROMs for my dreamcast, but that's the only one I've found that doesn't work right

That's why Dreamcast was so rad. There were so many super-
cool things people did with it. MP3 players, Emulators... I've
never tried any of them, but you can see what's available at
    DCemulation.com
