I suggested burning a CD from the HD earlier to see if it was his original CD that had the problem. Nero can have problems copying and will take forever if you try to copy a CD that has scratches and such, or if it has certain types of copy protection. Nero will copy CDs with certain types of protection but it will take forever. Have you tried to burn anything besides that one disc?

big data applications from HD to a blank CD. It was still slow, even though it kind faster than recording from CD to CD.
It still took 32 minutes to record those data files from HD to the CD. 20 minutes (for adding files to CD disk) + 12 minutes (for burning the CD) = 32 minutes totally for the whole process of recording a CD from HD. Gosh! this is so long.
Before I was using CD creator software, it just take about
10 minutes to record a CD to a CD for whole copying process.
I guess I dont setup the Nero software right or something else

Nero, how were you setup the Nero software? In Nero software
it have 3 main options but I really dont know what those options do. Here are the Nero option:
->Nero CD speed
->Nero DriverSpeed
->Nero Express
And I use Nero Express option to run for recording my CD.
I really dont know other two options do. I think they take care of
setting SPEED or detect CD space or something.
If you currently dont use Nero, then you dont know what the heck I am talking about and forget it.

There must be something seriously wrong with your pc/software
If I'm not mistaken, your cpu speed has very little to do with how fast your cd burner actually writes cds(the write speed specification).More than enough!!! Your PC is 3 times faster than mine!! (P3 500) and It takes me 3 minutes to copy a full cd (700 MB)

Is your CR-RW set up as a Master or a Slave? I had a friend that had problems because his DVD drive was setup as the Master and it was slowing it down.
All cd burner programs have an option to set the the burn
speed to 2x, 4x, max, etc. From the sound of things, you might
have your burn rate set to 2x--the slowest.

which drive had set to Master or Slave since I bought my PC from a local PC store a year ago. My PC has 2 CD drives, one is DVD and one is CD-RW. I usually do copying data and music CDs from DVD drive to CD-RW drive. I hope you can understand my problem as I described.

Check in the settings for NERO and make sure that it's not TESTING anything before writing. Find the settings and turn-off any checks it may be performing.
It may be running a check on the integrity of the data you're trying to write which will add a ton of time to your burning time.
This sounds like what's happening becuase of >>20 minutes (for adding files to CD disk) + 12 minutes (for burning the CD) = 32 minutes>>. 8x record is basically 74/8 = 10mins.
Also, just check the type of CD-R's you're using. Check to see the MAX speed they can write at and also make sure they have a Dark background like blue tint or silver or black. If it's a light background your cdrw will have trouble writing to it and the data can get messed up easily.
