New Rules.

I just wanted to bring it to everyone's attention that there is a new set of board guildlines/rules posted:

http://cboard.cprogramming.com/annou...?s=&forumid=10

I suggest everyone check it out. Nothing extremely new, but worth the lookover. Some small edits are still happening, but I'll let you know if there are any more new changes. Thanks to all the mods for their input and editting in rewritting this, and a special thanks to Hammer who repetitively gave lots of input and most importantly corrected my grammer .

The moderators reserve the right to remove or close any thread that they deem to be inappropriate.
Don't know if you meant too say this twice but you did, number three and the end of the post. If its not a mistake, well then whatever : )

A nice way to decrease all those Spam posters is to mod the board a bit making it not count any posts - in for example 'General Discussion' for the post count.

This is an issue that has been discussed at leangth by the mods. The way it works now is the easiest way for everyone, and the best way.

ok one has been deleted and a new anti-flaming rule has been added.

9. Messages whose intent is to "Flame," or purposely insult or incite another person, or any portion of a post that "flames" will be deleted.

ah...it may be implied there that you have to register to post, but at this time, though it is recommended it is not required.

Nope. That's how we've always spelled it here. Of course that FAQ was written when the web was 75% smaller or so.

... and reminds me (rather abstractly) of a great little story that did the rounds a while back. I'm sure that those of you who go to work will relate to this one.

Anyway, this is OT for this thread, so I'll shut up now.
When all else fails, read the instructions.
If you're posting code, use code tags:
/* insert code here */
