Fill, how would you feel if some native Americans came to your home and told you to get out of there, beacuse they were living there 2000 years ago, backed-up by the UN?

I indeed think of the ultra-conservative USA friends in Israel as evil, in many aspects.

Palastinians were not forced out. That's why they're still in Israel. and it was land in a sense donated by those arab countries. there wasn't a land called Palestine that they took over.

If a new government was introduced here I would live under that government. I wouldn't choose a racist route of killing the new people.

Isreal has every right to exisit and it should, and it should exist where it always has.

As for what america should do
    1. Destroy the oil monopoly, so that prices are not controled
    2. Get out of every countrey
    3. Whatch the world go to hell.
    4. Do nothing.

(ignoring all other posts on the thread...)

I feel a war with Iraq is a bad idea now. Iraq has been deterred successfully without incident. They have slapped the UN in the face repeatedly, but not much more has been done. We have the option of resuming weapons inspections, and we're ignoring it on a technicality.

More importantly, a war with Iraq is unpopular. If we engage in an unpopular war, we (the United States) become unpopular, and our war on terror falls to pieces...

I side with our war on terror, though.

The "presidential compounds" are larger than Paris. You can't ignore the possibility that an area we can't go to wouldn't be used.

You know what, I didn't bother reading all of this thread because I got to the end of the first page and all I read was stuff along the lines of 'let's bomb them all to hell'.

And people wonder why planes crash into buildings.......

I'm not anti-american, well provided that the average american doesn't think like the sort of ignorant monkeys that posted early on in this thread obviously do.

Yes, on closer inspection it is only corel...whatever spouting that kind of ignorant nonsense. So I apologise, I should have said ignorant monkey (singular).

It would be much better if America and the UN would stimulate the Arabic countries to put pressure on Iraq. At this moment Saddam knows he is not alone in the world, he is supported by the Arabic countries, but if the Arabic countries put pressure and attack him politically in the Arabic Liga and/or the community of oil producing countries, this may have a much bigger effect then when western countries attack him.

    >I side with our war on terror, though.

I partly agree. The war on terrorism should go on, however I wonder if terrorism can be eliminated. Looking at history, there have always been terrorists and evil countries. Just look at the Romans and the Mongols of Djengis Khan and even before. I think it is better to think of "how to prevent from terrorism" then "how to eliminate terrorism". If preventing terrorism to a minimum succeeds, this has a much better effect on the world than starting a large scale war against terrorists.

I don't disagree with anyones opinion here. Hell, i support it just as much as i support our wonderful nation. Why not shoot for peace? Until then Hail To The United States and lets kick some AZZ!
    PEACE OUT!
The most stuppidest and kiddish statement i've ever read on this board! Think 100 times even before saying anything like this.
Has this world not yet learned from WWII? It's really a shame on people with this mentality for making any statement like this. If you were in Iraq, you probably would have never supported America even if you were an American. Think about the people living in this country/neighbouring countries who will be affected by this. And what's the guarantee everything would become peacefull after this even if Sadam is brought down? Ofcourse, what Sadam is doing is certainly not right, but war is certainly not a solution, in which only more would be lost than gained.

And people wonder why planes crash into buildings.......
The reason why is because Americans are to free! I was im Dessert Storm, so I do have some knowledge of Iraq. I retired shortly after...
Anyways...Saddam is a very, very mean man, he bombs his own children http://www.kuwait-info.org/News/iraq_draining_away.html . It brings tears to my eyes to see any child suffering but it also sadens me to hear ignorant people who has never fought in any war to begin to comprehend what its all about. Its War! People die, we don't want to hear about it or even see it. No matter how many times... it still never gets better but the one thing i know is Sadamm must be removed and if it comes down to him or I. Well, I am sorry but he will be pooping radiation for a long time. So before any of you pass judgment on my mental status look inside yourselves, especially many euorpeans (like myself) who have had this crap going on out in thier own back yard. Its not until now, that because of Sept 11th that has really sparked Americans and for all of you who haven't experienced war, You are blessed. But, let us not forget the facts that we are dealing with a terrorist who has the capability to NUKE any city in the world. I praise America for taking the first step to erradicate this evil son-of-a-b#$%. So you can call me names, put me down but one thing for sure I pray its not your city that they fly a plane into next.
I do recall WW2, alot of bad things happened (e.g. Battan Death March.)
I don't want to keep beating a dead horse but this is my opinoin. I do apologize , if I have offended anyone (e.g. minesweeper) but facts are facts and kids ... we are in a world society TODAY that harbors nuclear weapons. I pray for the people all over the world, hell i remember a lot of times when I thought i'd never make it but i kept praying and it got me through it.
    Enough said about that.
This will be my last thread about this subject, God Speed.
