In war time are snipers killing people in cold blood?
Is a police sniper a serial killer who kills in cold blood?
Just a thought, I personally don't think that these two examples are cold blooded serial killers.
Sniper--
1. A skilled military shooter detailed to spot and pick off enemy soldiers from a concealed place.
2. One who shoots at other people from a concealed place.

This is ridiculous. I think a 6 month sentence for false information is too light. This may allow the sniper some more time to make a couple of more killings!
For all we know, he could be the sniper's accomplice, misleading the police on purpose.

Crazy to thing the guys was from our area (Tacoma, Washington). Strange things, I tell ya.
I for one was not expecting it to end so quickly, though it would drag on much longer. My guess was that the sniper would make a mistake and give himself away, and that's exactly what happened. The reason I did not expect it to be this soon was I read up one the "Unabomber Case", and that one was not solved for some 20 years...
