    At < www.linuxiso.org > you can choose mandrake. Than under i586 (if you have an intel processor) choose the icon on the left if you want to download from linuxiso or the icon on the right if you want a list of mirrors for whatever specific disk you have choosen. There are about ten mirrors for each and every disk.

    tried those already troll_king, also your links froze IE silentstrike im halfway done with the second disk right now on a mirror in va (im in ga) and man is it slow, like 10k a sec and im on DSL reminds me of the bad old days of dial up Anyways how do i find the checksum for these after i download them?

    They don't "freeze" IE... they just clog it up for awhile; until the FTP connection is accepted or times out. If you wait, I'd bet IE would become responsive again... either with an error message or a slow FTP. Although links to FTP's that don't exist seem to freeze it up for a very long time.

    i waited for about five minutes and then a dialog poped up with an error message saying IE has performed an illegal action and asked me if i wanted to send an error report or close. so i would definetly stand by kermi on this one as it being a conspiracy.

    those links from your school are great silentstrike! although the second one wont let me on it, requires a log in id, wont allow anonamous. The first though downloaded fast Thanks a lot Oh yeah how can i check the checksum under win/dos?

    search for md5 checksum on google and youll find a couple sites that have multiplatform downloads
