    Stupidity reigns supreme, IMO.

That explains why men only seem to use their brains 1% of the time.

It's based on brain/penis size, Prelude. Or is it penis/brain size?

This is an odd time for this type of question to pop up in my life because I have been trying to just accept annoying people and try not to take them so seriously. I have friends that are constantly complaining about everything, i.e how governement and society is corrupt, and how school is unfair, and how computers are stupid because they always freeze. Even though they are incredibly annoying I try to just ignore them or not take them seriously (which is very hard at times, esp when they are complaining about me and how corrupt and stupid I am). So I guess i have to say that I don't have a least favorite trait because I am trying to learn to just unconditionally accept other people (within reason).

Get used to it. You're probably ........ing off as many people as you're ........ed off by.
I hate telling this stuff to younger folk. I sure didn't appreciate the advice when I was your age. Still, wish I'd listened now.
Shadow, a lot of this goes away with age. If you don't respect their opinion, ok, but don't expect them to respect yours.
What age am I? Well, I still get carded (in the US) but was also legal when drinking age was 18.

    >>But what do you consider to be the most unatractive human traits (i.e. what really annoys you about other people).

    Denial
    No self-esteem
    Depression
Blatant ignorance (when people wont change their mind, regardless of new knowledge)

    >>That explains why men only seem to use their brains 1% of the time.

Hey! Look now; The human race would survive longer stupid than they would sterile. Besides: The use of one is fun. The use of the other often leads to the conclusion that you have too much work to do and dont have time for fun. No wonder we use one more that the other!

    >>I hate telling this stuff to younger folk. I sure didn't appreciate the advice when I was your age. Still, wish I'd listened now.

I'm only 20, my friend, and I couldnt agree more. All the people you hate for telling you stuff are all the people you wish would have been more insistant only a few years later. I have to say this though: Knowledge is good, but experience is better. When someone says "that's hot", you believe them and are careful for a while. But if you burn your hand, you wont ever forget... So, live and learn.

Exactly what did i do wrong here? I was trying to say that I am trying not to let annoying traits annoy me...your comment seems inappropriate

Also if you had read into what I was saying you might've inferred that I don't give annoying people my opinion of them because of my passive attitude towards their behavior. I just let them be who they are because I probably cannot change them and it would do me a lot of good to just let them say their controversial things with no conflict. If I slapped them for every time they complained about the world they'd probably be dead from trauma to the head. Expect people to respect my opinion? I still don't know why you said that.

i can not stand people who have no concept of responsibility and/or what real work is. Granted i am just a junior in HS but i have worked in a machine shop doing assembly and electrical for the last two summers and every saturday during the school year. I usually pull down 12 hours (at least daily) 6 days a week during the summer. And on the school weekends usually 10-13 on sat. I don't try to complain, i realize it's necessary because i have car payments etc. to make. I hate (it's mostly the girls in my class, no offense to the opposite sex who may read this post) who whine about working 3-4 hours a night 3 nights a week at culvers restaurant (a fast food chain in the US) and their parents buy their stuff for them including new cars and they cover insurance. Then they have the audacity to COMPLAIN about how hard off they have it. makes me sick. anyhow i've done my venting for tonight. peace everyone.

Waldo2k2, I couldn't agree with you more. I'm a junior in high school too, and I always have to hear about people complaing about how tired and how hard they work. People, you don't even know what works is! I work five nights/days a week (you wouldn't believe how busy we get everynight...not like most places at all!) and am only able to get around five hours of sleep. Then the girls at my work (and a few guys too) complain about how tired they are when they really haven't done ........... For example, today this girl was on register3, I was on register2, and another guy was on register1. Well, for over four hours the girl on reg3 took only one order, whereas me and the other guy must have taken at least 50. All she did was get our drinks and kind of walk around. She's so ****ing lazy that it kills me to watch it. At one time she saw that some people needed their order taken but instead of taking their order she walks away and expects somebody else to it, even though, I'm already taking an order and the other guy is having to deal with catering crap at the time. Not to mention she has the audacity (sp?) to say that she wants to go home and she works too much. Sorry but it's just annoying having to hear from people that get everything handed to them and don't work at all.

Another example I have is of this girl (I don't even think she works) who was a little dissapointed when the parents bought her this brand new car. I guess she wanted a different car. Damn I would kill for a brand new car.

That's what bothers me, as well.

I know how you feel, not because I personally work hard, but

because I work with people that work hard. What i mean is I

work at a restaurant and I wash the dishes, I don't have a hard

job at all. However the cooks have it extremely rough, they

have to be cooking a LOT of stuff all at once and everything has

to be timed perfectly and they have a lot of responsibility to

please the customers and get everything right. When something

goes wrong customers sometimes come in the kitchen and give

them all hell even though the cooks are honestly trying hard.

Then my boss comes in and gives the cooks even MORE hell. It's

like the cooks tried murdering people or something, when in fact

they only made an honest human mistake. Coupled with long

hours and not very high pay, they have it rough. Seeing as how

I don't have it all that bad i try to cheer them up and get their

cooking materials for them from the basement, just to make life

for them a little fraction of a bit better. This one guy there

    works like 45

hours a week and he makes like $12.00 per hour. His daughter

just got into a life threatening car accident and broke her neck,

and neither of them have life insurance or the money to pay for

    that kind of hospital care.
