I think not. I don't want to be a mod. Why would anybody? It's
just a lot of extra responsibility with no benefits (unless you count
the "Mod board" as a benefit... which I don't.)

[edit by ygfperson]: they have some perks...
for instance, did you know we can silence you at our whim? think about that, ethic, before starting up again.

Hey, I was nominated for modship in the last election. Believe
me, I could have won. I'm extremely popular; well-liked. I'm
fantastic. But I PMed Kermi and asked for my name to be taken
off the list. I'm the Anti-Mod. I'm against every aspect of the
practice of moderation. It is tearing our society apart; it is another
form of segregation. I like to think of myself as a revolutionist.
    End Modism!

You mean trade in moderation for anarchy?
    Have you ever seen DOA?

This board's fine just the way it is. Mods and all.

*writes "The Dog" down on a scrap of paper beside his check book*

*Hands a slip of paper with the word "ethic" scrawled on it to a shady character who seems to be holding something inside his suit jacket*
