I would put it down to active "marketing gremlins" focusing their attentions on hollywood. I imagine these little green chaps provide these computers to film sets for free (or maybe even pay for the computers to be shown) this then gives an illusion that Macs are everywhere......
Same thing that Eriksson & Nokia do with mobile phones........
The only reference I saw to a windows box was when that Win98 computer blew up on South Park the movie.....and they then shot Bill Gates
same thing goes for cars... Fords, Dodges... next time you watch a movie... look at the cars... they'll mostly be from one manufacturer.
EntropySink. You know you have to click it.
I don't remember where I saw it, but it's said that typically, the bad guys use Windows boxes, and the good guys use Macs... I dunno - maybe Macs are cutesier or something... Then you've got movies like Office Space where the machine can't decide what it wants to be.

"Who are the ad wizards who came up with that one?"
I read somewhere the other day that there is a show being developed (sitcom, family drama or something) that will have an accompanying website, catalog and phone number where you will be able to purchase everything single thing you see on the show. Everything from the clothes the actors wear, the cars they drive, to the kitchen table in their house. It should be interesting to see how many people watch just to shop
That sounds like the Truman Show....

BLING! ... oh, I mean ... yeah, sounds like the Truman Show, but who would buy anything that has a relation to Jum Carey?
Truman Show? Nono, it's more akin to when the people are talking about the marketing possiblities of their new network in Antitrust.
>Truman Show
>Antitrust
Those were both good movies...especially Antitrust...
