You should attempt to understand yourself. This takes some time. People are unique individuals and only you can know yourself better than anyone else can know you or what you should do or how you should behave. In time you will discover ways to deal with stress, whether those ways are utilitarian or not.

You have lots of time and planning will get help you get ahead faster. One thing to remember is that the bottom line strategy to get out of a problem is to establish a routine and get appropriate sleep. Personally I abstain from sex (even looking at naked women online) as much as possible because it helps me deal with stress (I often fail in this regard though). There are times though that I don't worry about stress.

Once you become educated, there are less answers, because you need to take action and become autonomous. One of the most difficult things to deal with is freedom.

"Personally I abstain from sex (even looking at naked women online) as much as possible because it helps me deal with stress "

Regular sex (3-4 times a week) has been shown to boost the immune system and DECREASE overall stress.

Interestingly too much sex (more than 3-4 times a week) nullifies the bonus for the immune system i am uncertain of its effects on stress.

Atleast that applies to the populace at large i suppose its plausable that you have some psychological issues connected that cause you stress, however i would suggest if that is the case, to get some form of therapy rather than simply cutting it out of your life.

"Once you become educated, there are less answers"

...... There are not less answers, though there are certainly a great deal more questions.

Do you think that I can just put on a diaper instead of going to the doctor, will that work for me?

Actually I typically abstain from sex for 4 or 5 months at a time.

Ignore Troll King since well he's Troll King and Clyde he's one
    of the ghost from pacman

If your doing first year calculus I wouldn't worry about it too much.
What I meant was say for example your book says
the derivative of a sum is the sum of the derivatives. Since
a derivative is a limit, the limit of a sum is the sum of limits.
You could go even further and prove that the sum of limits
is the sum of the limits. This proof is a little more intricate since
you have to use the definition of a limit. The main point
is that if you can't create a proof, short explanation or picture showing why something is true it will be harder to accept
    or memorize it.

remember: in a classroom enviroment, you are there to learn! if you feel stupid it is because you haven't been taught yet...

i'm in ap calculus now, and i'm not too stressed. (it being only day 4 of school might help some.) my biggest problems with school are more on the lack of freedom given to students. it would be nice to just take a walk up and down the sidewalk during our 20 minute lunch period...

    *getting back on topic*
just enjoy your life. realize that you are privileged to be in this country getting a free education. leave the stress for the people who can't find jobs, or the people piled in debt, or the criminals in jail for many years, or the drunk drivers who have killed people by accident ...

Regular sex (3-4 times a week) has been shown to boost the immune system and DECREASE overall stress.
i agree. however, being a high school senior, sex is difficult to find. (or at least less difficult than college... )

Actually I typically abstain from sex for 4 or 5 months at a time.
    ouch.

Yes the sex thing isn't too easy to find. Yes I ignored Troll King. Yes I shouldn't worry about feeling stupid and feeling stress. The perspective you put things in ygf is perfect. Schoo isn't a serious situation, and that is how I have been treating it. Well it IS something that shouldn't be taken lightly, I have to care at least somewhat, enough to actually learn, but I am NOT in jail, I am NOT in debt, and I am NOT looking for a job. I will remember that next time I doubt myself To tell you people the truth this is a lot like a therapy session, the only real difference is the fact that I am not talking to you in person. As a side note, if I post questions specific to homework are the moderators going to delete it? I dont' think they would delete it...I hope they wouldn't delete it.

it depends. we don't tolerate people who don't show some effort at their problem. don't ask for answers, either.

i doubt we delete that kind of thing. the thread is either closed or moved to the deleted post archive to be forgotten about (or very improbably, to be resurrected).

however, we welcome questions which ask for a better understanding of the problem.
