I need A song that that deals with a world issue

Hi, since u all read the subject, u all know what i'm looking for, and yes, it's for educational use(only). I would completely understand the fact if you do not want to help me becuase i should do my own damn work, but after searching for 3.5 straight hours, i've given up. i have no clue where to get one, i did find a few sites with some songs, but there was no place to download them from (this is not going to be illegal becuase i will only use the song to do a (stupid) peper).
if anyone can help me with this, i will be very thankful!!

But to his fans, his problems are world problems.
Naturally I didn't feel inspired enough to read all the links for you, since I already slaved away for long hours under a blistering sun pressing the search button after typing four whole words! - Quzah

is a very good song. it deals with the after effects soldiers have once they come back from war.

Yeah, but I'm sure he would rather to a band that doesn't suck.

No doubt about it, Metallica sucks now, but Metallica by no means at all sucked when they released that song on the album of And Justice For All. Metallica is on the best bands ever, IMO. Not many bands have produced that many quality albums, however, Metallica has also produced 3 really crappy albums (Load, ReLoad, S&M).

Regardless of all that, though, One is a very good choice for his song.

How about "Barry McGuire - Eve of destruction" ?

If you don't mind oldies, it's the stereotype and probably most famous song about world problems of the 'Nam era.

The eastern world, it is explodin’.
    Violence flarin’, bullets loadin’
You’re old enough to kill, but not for votin’
You don’t believe in war, but what’s that gun you’re totin’
And even the Jordan River has bodies floatin’

    But you tell me
Over and over and over again, my friend
    Ah, you don’t believe
    We’re on the eve
    of destruction.

Don’t you understand what I’m tryin’ to say
Can’t you feel the fears I’m feelin’ today?
If the button is pushed, there’s no runnin’ away
There’ll be no one to save, with the world in a grave
Take a look around you boy
It’s bound to scare you boy

    And you tell me
Over and over and over again, my friend
    Ah, you don’t believe
    We’re on the eve
    of destruction.

Yeah, my blood’s so mad feels like coagulatin’
    I’m sitting here just contemplatin’
You can’t twist the truth, it knows no regulation.
Handful of senators don’t pass legislation
And marches alone can’t bring integration
    When human respect is disintegratin’
This whole crazy world is just too frustratin’

    And you tell me
Over and over and over again, my friend
    Ah, you don’t believe
    We’re on the eve
    of destruction.

Think of all the hate there is in Red China
Then take a look around to Selma, Alabama
You may leave here for 4 days in space
But when you return, it’s the same old place
The poundin’ of the drum, the pride and disgrace
You can bury your dead, but don’t leave a trace
Hate your next-door neighbor, but don’t forget to say grace
And… tell me over and over and over and over again, my friend
    You don’t believe
    We’re on the eve
    Of destruction
Mm, no no, you don’t believe
    We’re on the eve
    of destruction.
